Product Overview
This Display Seal is also known as a gasket, provides sealing, load distribution, gap filling and protects the display unit from mechanical shocks. These gaskets seal the enclosure at the edge of the viewing area from dust sealing, light water exposure or cleaning. Without a gasket, the enclosure that holds the display in place may put some pressure on the display which can cause distortions, false contacts or short circuits. The seal also helps to fill gaps between the screen and display and/or the screen and bezel. This off-white color seal is made up of Rubberlite MC-1900PE Microcell Polyethylene and comes with 3M adhesive for easy installation. Gaskets, or display seals are used in GE's Giraffe Incubator and Giraffe Omnibed systems.
